BOCES students inducted into National Technical Honor Society

Herkimer BOCES National Technical Honor Society students
Herkimer-Fulton-Hamilton-Otsego BOCES students Krista Maury, Cheyenne Rivenburg and Taryen Schultz were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society on Wednesday, Feb. 25, at Herkimer BOCES. Other Herkimer BOCES students who were already in the honor society participated in a candle-lighting ceremony. They are pictured here with the new inductees. HERKIMER – Three Herkimer-Fulton-Hamilton-Otsego BOCES students were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society on Wednesday, Feb. 25, at Herkimer BOCES.

The three students, who are all in the criminal justice program at Herkimer BOCES, are: Krista Maury, of Herkimer; Cheyenne Rivenburg, of Little Falls; and Taryen Schultz, of West Canada Valley.

During the event, Career and Technical Education Principal Kathy Fox welcomed guests, child and family services student Angela Harrington led the Pledge of Allegiance and read the honor society goal, CTE Assistant Principal Ryan DeMars talked about the purpose of the honor society, current honor society members conducted a candle-lighting ceremony, child and family services graduate Kim Carpenter served as the keynote speaker and Herkimer BOCES administrators and honor society advisors inducted the new members.
