Herkimer BOCES District Superintendent Mark Vivacqua releases statement on Board of Regents decision to approve multiple pathways for high school graduation including CTE
Oct. 20, 2014

Herkimer-Fulton-Hamilton-Otsego BOCES District Superintendent Mark Vivacqua:

“The Regents’ action today should go a long way in addressing concerns some have had about the reform agenda being a ‘one size fits all’ approach. They made clear that we need to recognize the needs of business in industry to prepare students for jobs in this new economy, but also that the level of rigor cannot be compromised.

“Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi deserves much credit for bringing this issue to the forefront. His leadership on educational issues in the legislature has been refreshing and much appreciated.”
